I have not been able to upload my podcast on my other blog so I am trying it here.
2008 Willow Award Winners
The 2008 Willow Award Winners have been announced. In the Shining Willow category, the winner was Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt. The Diamond Willow winner was Very Serious Children by Caroline Adderson . Last, but not least, the Snow Willow Award went to Schooled by Gordon Korman. A student from our school also won a book for casting a ballot in the contest. His name will be announced at our next assembly.

Happy New Year! I hope you all did lots of reading over the break! I did! I also ran across these two websites that promote books. One is called KidVidLit. You can look at short videos of books. One that is featured now is Bone! Take a look!
Another one to try is Nancy Keane’s Daily Podcasts. Here you can try listening to some book talks. Keeping reading and sharing!
